Brookwood Point Site Manager

BLOOM AT BROOKWOOD POINT WITH OTSEGO LAND TRUST

Are you a dedicated gardener with a keen eye for color, texture and balance? Do you enjoy planning for seasonal changes in the landscape? Join us this year to make Brookwood Point’s historic gardens truly spectacular!

Otsego Land Trust has an immediate opening for a Site Manager at the Brookwood Point Conservation Area.

The Brookwood Point Site Manager (25 hrs. per week through October 31) is responsible for cultivating and caring for the formal gardens, wetlands, forests, and trails on the 22-acre property. The Brookwood Point Conservation Area is located on the west side of Otsego Lake, two miles north of Cooperstown. The position entails frequent contact with visitors, assistance with programs and events, and coordination with other staff and volunteers. We are looking for someone with a knowledge of native and non-native plants, good physical stamina, and a good sense of garden design and aesthetics.
